About us
Many people are afraid of financial training or think that it will be dull, dull, dull!
At FST&C, our mission is to remove this fear factor and make financial training enjoyable, highly interactive and relevant to the course participants, thereby motivating them and increasing their knowledge retention.
FST&C was set up in 2003 by Helen Howard, an Accountant, Certified Learning Practitioner and Member of the Institute of Learning and Development, after identifying a gap in the market for financial training aimed at non-financial people that was delivered in plain English and tailored effectively for the audience. Most financial training workshops seem to include far too much jargon and not enough relevance for the course participants. According to our broad client base, many of whom have our courses as part of their ongoing training programmes, FST&C has very effectively addressed these issues.
Our flexible approach means that you get what you need, when you need it and in the way that you need it. We won’t prescribe a solution until we’ve managed to identify your precise needs and then we’ll tailor it to ensure they are met.
Our team of specialists has grown since 2003 and we are delighted that we are able to offer a number of methods in helping people to develop their financial and commercial awareness. In additional to the traditional classroom based, instructor led training, we also offer e-learning, blended learning, coaching and mentoring.
